well, this is one of my favorite breakfast foods, though its not something that I eat often. I’m actually trying to decide whether or not to cook this up for the morning or not, I haven’t quite decided.
1 lb. Sausage
2 Tbs. Finely minced onion
6 Tbs. Flour
1 qt. milk
¼ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. italian seasoning
1 dash warcestershire sauce
1 dash tabasco sauce
1. Cook sausage and onion. Drain grease.
2. add flour and cook on medium-low heat for 6-7 minutes
3. Pour in milk and add spices.
notes:Cooking the flour helps remove the floury taste from the gravy.
